We aim to support workplace relationships through the provision of mediation and mediation related services.
With our background as experienced mediators, we provide direct mediation to specific workplace disputes. We also offer facilitation and conflict management skills training for all levels of your organisation.
We have experience in working with organisations to assess how they currently approach and manage workplace conflict. Furthermore, we facilitate the design and implementation of efficient systems which prevent conflict escalation and reduce any associated costs.
We believe that addressing conflict and improving communication in the workplace should be viewed as a necessity rather than a luxury and that effective conflict resolution is essential to preserving what many organisations refer to as their most important asset — content and productive employees.
Why “Redefine”?
Fundamental to the mediation effort is the concept of redefinition. Our services encourage organisations and their employees to shift their attitudes and approach to conflict. This will allow them to understand the nature of conflict, how it can escalate and, through appropriate skills training, how alternative approaches to dealing with conflict may be fostered.
One of the key skills used by the mediator is to redefine the concerns of the disputing parties in a way that mutualises the issues in neutral and acceptable terms. When successful, this process helps the parties redefine their relationship.
